This meeting will be the fourth we have held on this topic, with previous meetings in 2012, 2014 and 2016, and like before we will bring together members of the major UK research groups who have an interest in vectors or vector-borne diseases which could be a threat to the UK; groups with wider but related areas of interest; members of key UK Government Departments and their Agencies; and representatives of European organisations with an interest in this topic.

The meeting will not only provide a valuable forum for researchers to meet and exchange information and ideas, but also assist UK Government Departments and their Agencies to assess accurately the risks posed by both new and emerging disease agents, set policies which mitigate these risks and avoid activities and policies which increase them.

  REGISTRATION FEES

  •  Full Registration Fee: £130
  • Early Bird Rate for first 30 registered PhD Students: £90
  •  Dinner at the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts, University of East Anglia Campus,
    on Monday 3rd December: £30
