HPRU-EZI Academic Career Development Programme continues in Birmingham

On 28th & 29th March 2023, our HPRU-EZI Early Career Researchers gathered in Birmingham for a 2-day workshop on Statistics and Data Science. Led by David Hughes from the University of Liverpool, it was a chance for students to get more practice using 'R' and thinking about how to apply this with their own research. 

As part of our series on having students deliver talks to their groups, Mark Pritchard from the University of Oxford team, presented on 'Why epidemics grow then shrink: understanding phenomenological and mechanistic models'.
