Liverpool welcomes the new Pandemic Institute

Its an exciting time for the City of Liverpool as it becomes the headquarters for the new Pandemic Institute and HPRU-EZI's Professor Matthew Baylis will be its Director! Prof Baylis noted that "the Pandemic Institute has the potential to help revolutionise how the world responds to pandemics". The Pandemic Institute is based at the new Spine Building, soon to be designated the world's healthiest building! Many of the team was able to see the building for themselves as it was the venue for the HPRU-EZI Annual Scientific Meeting in October 2021.
