Public Health England becomes UK Health Security Agency

On 1 October 2021, Public Health England (PHE) transfers all health protection functions to the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA). NHS Test and Trace will also become part of the UKHSA.
The health improvement and public health work of PHE transfers to the new Office for Health Improvement and Disparities, NHS Digital, NHS England and NHS Improvement.
Existing PHE branded documents can continue to be found on the GOV.UK website with all new guidance and publications branded as UKHSA.
